Working with our brothers and sisters ... Members of the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska will be at the Parish Thrift Store this Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. to load up a truck for their winter supplies. #1 We need four to six people to help load up this truck (the average age of the thrift store volunteers is 70, let's give them a hand) #2 They are seeking household item donations (chairs, kitchenware, ect.) and winter coats. They can be dropped off tomorrow or Wednesday morning. The Parish Thrift Store is at the southeast corner of 4th and Eddy Streets, next to the "Motor Car Engineering" building. Feel free to share this!
St.Thomas, pray for us.
Special thanks to all those who donated blood at the St. Leoβs blood drive on Friday, June 28. Thanks to our donorβs generosity, we collected 25 units of critically needed blood for the Red Cross. We had several first time donors and one special one- Fr. Don Buhrman, who hasnβt given in several years. We appreciate you coming out in the 95+ degree heat!
